Introduction

Hi everybody! My name is Victoria (Tori) and I'm excited to learn all about blogging here. I'm from a teeny town called Granbury, TX which is about an hour south of Fort Worth. My senior year in high school I played Belle in our musical Beauty and the Beast and had an amazing time being a Disney princess! The picture below is right after we finish singing Be Our Guest and that was one of my favorite numbers because it was so big!

I also was really involved in choir when I was in high school. My choir performed in both Carnegie Hall in New York and St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. I feel so incredibly lucky to have been able to do this and wouldn't trade these trips for anything in the world. The video is a part of my choir singing in the Basilica of the Apostles in Rome.

I'm one of the journalism majors that isn't quite sure what they are doing and is just going with the flow until I figure it out. My idea right now is to finish my journalism degree and then go on to law school. I still have a huge passion for music and would love to stay in that world so I think I would really enjoy being a contract lawyer for a record company... but who knows! I'm definitely not one of those kids that has my entire life planned out but I kind of like it that way. I like to set little goals for myself to stay motivated but not have these huge expectations because I feel like I wouldn't be able to commit that much. Anyway, I can't wait to learn more about all of you as we learn to blog and navigate the world of journalism!
