The 4th Annual Wagathon Walkathon

The 4th Annual Wagathon Walkathon was held on March 30, 2014 at the Hill Country Galleria in Austin, Texas. The walkathon was put on to support and raise awareness for Austin Pets Alive!, which is a non-profit, no kill humane society organization. As well as promoting some more specific animal shelters, like The Basset Rescue Group. The walkathon’s main supporter was Austin Subaru, Continental Auto Group, and was also sponsored by local businesses like Jamba Juice. This particular event is one of Austin Pets Alive!’s best fundraising and awareness events. Volunteers will bring some of the animal shelter dogs out, put an “adopt me!” vest on, and try to find some of their furry friends new homes.
