The Driskill Hotel

Established in 1886, downtown Austin's Driskill Hotel, as shown through photos taken Feb. 15, 2014, is now a historical landmark, having witnessed Lyndon B. Johnson await news of his victory in three elections, numerous Texas governors' inaugural balls and a near demolition.
